Fire at Hooe Lake Quarry

A Fire Brigade was called to a tyre fire in Hooe Lake Quarry. The entire site was supposed to have been cleared some years ago by order of the department of the environment but evidently not. This is the third call out in as many weeks.
Due to the danger from the empty oil tanks it was not permitted to be allowed any closer.
